How do I book a skip?
Please call us on 01722 320544 to arrange deliveries, collections and exchanges of skips.
Where can my skip be dropped?
Skips can be dropped on private property such as your drive or on the road outside your house. Skips can also be dropped at businesses, offices or factories. For contractors and builders, we also offer waste disposal services for customer locations.
Do I need permission from the council to place a skip on the road?
Yes. We will obtain a license from our local Council on your behalf, allowing the skip to be placed on the road.
What if I cannot get a skip license?
For skip licence problems, we offer a load and wait service, where the driver will wait while you promptly load the skip. Please contact us for further information.
How long can I keep a skip?
Our usual terms for skip hire are 28 days but we can be flexible. Please phone for details.
Is there anything that I cannot put in a skip?
In accordance with environmental legislation, fridges/freezers, asbestos, tyres, chemicals and paint are not to be placed in or beside a skip.
What are CB Skips’ loading requirements?
Skips must always be level-loaded to ensure safety.
What do CB Skips do with my waste after it is taken away?
Skips are brought back to our yard which is a fully licenced transfer station. We sort the waste reusing and recycling a high percentage, the remainder is disposed of to landfill in the most environmentally friendly way.
